“God blesses you when people mock you and persecute you and lie about you and say all sorts of evil things against you because you are my followers. Rejoice and be very glad! For a great reward awaits you in heaven.” Matthew 5
Sometimes life is “challenging”, to say the least.
As is typical in this life, wonderful things and terrible things occur at the same time. And, if we are not careful to keep our eyes fixed on heaven, we will inevitably allow the terrible to outweigh the wonderful.
Today, rejoice and be very glad when people mock you and persecute you and lie about you and say all sorts of evil things against you because you follow Christ!
BECAUSE GOD BLESSES YOU when this happens.

Where is your focus right now? In the wonderful or the terrible? Maybe it’s time for a focus adjustment!
Are you listening to what people are saying about you or what Father says about you? Time for a focus adjustment.
Life on this planet will never be perfect or easy.
But someday, perfection WILL be the norm.
By rejoicing right now in the “perfect life” that is coming someday, we can overcome the imperfections and rejoice and be very glad in the here-and-now.
REJOICE AND BE VERY GLAD!

Amen!! I found myself feeling offended one day when someone said, ” she has to preach tomorrow, she can’t drink that” although I had been to a funeral. Then I had to realize, that was the BEST compliment anyone could give me. I AM HIS!!
Sometimes I may feel uncomfortable when preaching the word of Jesus, but I know Jesus loves when I do it.
