“Trust in The Lord completely, and do not rely on your own opinions. With all your heart rely on Him to guide you and He will lead you in every decision that you make. Become intimate with Him in whatever you do, and He will lead you wherever you go.”  Proverbs 3

We are building a house.

It’s a bit of a stretch to say that we are building a house. Closer to the truth would be to say that we are organizing those with incredible skills and THEY are building a house.

Yes, we do know that this is one of the worst times in history to be building anything. Costs are up. Labor difficult to find. Taxes are high.

And, we are building.

“Why?” you may ask.

Because, in each step of the journey…selling one house, moving, buying land, designing new house, dealing with permitting…each step of the way, we have asked Father for help and He has replied “I’ve got this”, and He has opened doors and we have moved forward.

We don’t know the end of this chapter, but we know that we have trusted Him FIRST with this part of our lives and He is trustworthy.

Yes, He gives us brains, and yes, He intends for us to use them. Yes, we have life experiences and they help us to make wise decisions.

BUT…FIRST comes Him. Trusting HIM first and completely is the key.

Today is as simple a word as I have ever written.

TFF

The secret to this life is all about knowing THE Truth and THE Truth setting us free.

The only TRUE truth is Father.

I have heard people use the phrase “This is my truth.”

This works great IF your truth happens to be HIS truth. If your truth is from any other source, you will likely find yourself in very deep weeds!

So, what’ll it be today?

How are you going to “see” today unfold?

Will you FIRST trust what you can see, hear and touch, or will you FIRST trust THE TRUTH…

‘Seek first the kingdom of God…’

Perhaps a better reading of this verse…

“Give your entire attention to what God is doing right now, and don’t get worked up about what may or may not happen tomorrow. God will help you deal with whatever hard things come up when the time comes.” Matthew 6:33

TFF – TRUST FATHER FIRST

There it is.

So simple.

So true.

So naïve and childish you say?

He says to come to Him as children. Open eyed. Open eared. Open HEARTED.

He doesn’t say to come childishly. There is a difference between childlike and childish you know.

We are born with TFF.

The “stuff” of life steals childlikeness little by little until TFF has been stolen and replaced by TNN – Trust Nothing and No one.

Come home today.

Let Father bring you back to childlikeness.

Ask Him for help.
